shashilal nair is absolutely under ranked; the movie is somewhat inspired by a polish motion picture but the handling and execution is simply sublime as is the musical arrangement; one of the best feminist cinema ever made with maturing style combination in splendour and though it handles middle class characters its real intelligence in its throes and bowels at large! completely pleasurable at all levels and technically outstanding too; from sound editing to electronic camera characteristics
this is a special film in bolly history, a motion picture where a lady and young boy act and talk over 2 hours and director engrosses you in every scene, no tunes or dances, no ridiculous comedy, an initial background score with terrific discussions and excellent acting, the polish motion picture is 20 minutes long and leaves no affect, this is both commercially and critically well-known and its a ground breaking landmark in bolly history, they will never make one like it once again nor did they make any before and so lots of jealous haters can go to damned hell
